Council-Led Programs
An event series designed for Girl Scouts in grades 6-12 who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous People of Color) to uplift their voices, and build joy, resistance, and a sense of community. Unique to Girl Scouts River Valleys,  BIPOC Spaces and Places brings together our BIPOC members by providing experiences that resonate with their culture and identity through events led by BIPOC community members in BIPOC-centered spaces.

This event series is not meant to be exclusive. Girl Scouts River Valleys has created this space for our BIPOC Girl Scouts to connect without fear of micro or macroaggressions.
Designed for older Girl Scouts, this patch encourages you to get ready, set, vote! Thanks to new legislation, 16 and 17-year-olds can now pre-register to vote in the state of Minnesota, and we want Girl Scouts to know about it! By completing this patch you’ll learn why voting is an important part of your democracy, how to pre-register to vote, who currently represents you, and how to encourage others to register to vote. We would like to thank Minnesota Secretary of State, Steve Simon, for partnering with us to make this patch possible.
