Upcoming Special Events: 2024 Highest Awards Celebrations

Prepare to celebrate the 2023-2024 Gold Award and Silver Award recipients!
Each year, Girl Scouts River Valleys honors our council's newest Gold Award and Silver Award recipients at Highest Awards Celebrations. The Silver Award and Gold Award are the two highest honors in all of Girl Scouting, and these events are an opportunity to celebrate these outstanding achievements!
To meet the needs of our large council, we host two events that have the same program, so Girl Scouts can choose to attend whichever event they prefer. The events include a short ceremony and reception, and Girl Scouts will receive their official award pins and certificates at the event. The events are free, and Girl Scouts may invite family and friends to attend, but registration is required for all attendees.
This year's events will be:
Sunday, May 19, 2024
Minnesota State University, Mankato (Mankato, MN)
12:30 pm-3:00 pm, short reception following
Sunday, June 9, 2024
University of St Thomas (St Paul, MN)
12:30 pm-3:00 pm, short reception following
Registration for both events closes April 28, 2024.
Attendance at these events is optional. We will honor Girl Scouts who completed their project and earned the Silver Award or Gold Award between March 2, 2023 and March 1, 2024. Girl Scouts that do not attend either event will receive their pin and certificate by mail. Attendees should only register for one event.
