The Early Bird renewal season, May 1–June 30, is an opportunity for current Girl Scout families and volunteers to renew their membership for the upcoming 2024-2025 membership year. Troops and Girl Scouts can unlock egg-citing perks when they renew their membership during Early Bird.
This Year’s Early Bird Perks
An exclusive Early Bird patch featuring this year’s mascot, the red-winged blackbird!
All volunteers will receive a coupon for $10 off a $50 purchase or $20 off a $100 purchase to use four times a year at any Girl Scouts River Valleys Shop location, sent quarterly throughout the year via email.
The opportunity for you and your troop to be entered into a drawing for the chance to win one of a few select experiences, including naming a horse at camp, a troop photo shoot, a free Girl Scouts River Valleys program event for your troop, a visit from CEO, Marisa Williams, to your troop meeting, or breakfast with the CEO on August 9 at the Original Pancake House in Roseville!

Retired Early Bird Perk: Additional Cookie Proceeds
In previous years, we have offered an opportunity to earn higher cookie sale proceeds if a troop qualified as an Early Bird troop and hit a certain per girl average (PGA). We have retired this Early Bird benefit and will not be offering it this year.
We are committed to developing accessible programs and opportunities for all. Early bird-ing is not something all Girl Scouts and troops can achieve (for example, newly formed troops) and we want as many Girl Scouts as possible to benefit from cookie proceeds. We know that proceeds fuel amazing adventures, so as we plan for 2025, our aim is to continue building a strong cookie proceed program and will do that within the cookie program rather than through Early Bird.
