Calling all volunteers! You are invited to join us for our annual Fall Launch event.
New this year—this event is happening in two parts: an in-person appreciation event on Saturday, August 10, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM in Bloomington, MN, and our first ever Virtual Learning Series happening on July 30, August 1, and August 3!
At our in-person event, volunteers will have time to connect and network with fellow volunteers, visit our pop-up shop, have some delicious lunch, be recognized for their hard work and commitment to the Girl Scout mission, and much more! We hope this fun event leaves volunteers ready and energized for the upcoming Girl Scout year.
At our virtual events, volunteers will have the opportunity to gain invaluable insights and add an array of new skills to their toolkit. Each day promises a dynamic duo of sessions: one led by an insightful presenter and the other by a panel brimming with experience. Volunteers have the chance to absorb wisdom from our community partners, dedicated GSRV Staff, and the inspiring stories of fellow volunteers. With topics ranging from Navigating Difficult Conversations to Supporting Girl Scouts with ADHD, and Telling Your Girl Scout Story, these sessions are tailored to empower volunteers. The panel discussions will further enhance volunteer experience, covering essential themes like Strategies for Engaging Your Community, Effective Communication Tools, and Caring for Yourself Throughout the Girl Scout Year.
