We are so grateful to all Girl Scouts and volunteers that participated in the 2024 Cookie Program. No matter what came your way, your innovation, grit, and creativity were unmatched. Your commit-mint to this program is just one of the reasons we rank among the top councils for cookie sales in the country. Here’s a quick glance at our end of the cookie season totals:
Total packages sold: 3,311,000
Number of Girl Scouts selling: 11,214
Per Girl Average (PGA): 293
Troop proceeds: $3,185,000
Cookie Variety Mix
$4300 to Friends of the Mississippi River
$4300 was donated to benefit the health of the Mississippi River through our LemonAID Program. The Friends of the Mississippi River extend a special thank you to all Girl Scouts that teamed together to make this impactful donation.
Cookie Care Program Donations
Over 80,300 packages of cookies were donated by troops directly to worthy organizations right in their communities. Council-inventory donations benefitted the American Red Cross, food shelves, school lunch programs, and additional organizations too numerous to mention.
Cookie Booths
Troops participated in a new record of over 19,250 booth timeslots at locations throughout our council area. A special shout-out to Cub, your local grocery store. We are continually grateful for their partnership each year as they generously offer Cookie Booth opportunities at their 70+ locations during the cookie season. Through this partnership, our Girl Scout entrepreneurs sold over 304,000 packages alone at Cub locations this season.
Fall Snacks & Magazines Program
Speaking of fall, we are working on some truly exciting updates with our annual Fall Product Program! It’s still a fast, easy, and fun way to earn funds to kick off the new Girl Scout year. Watch for more details this summer coming to your inbox and to GirlScoutsRV.org.
