Girl Scout Destinations

PLEASE NOTE: Because of continuing pandemic-related issues and our commitment to girl safety, GSUSA has decided that Destinations will not take place during summer 2021. Destinations will resume in 2022. The early application period is now open for 2022 Destinations.

Check out Girl Scout Destinations, the ultimate adventure program for girls ages 11 and older. With a ton of different trips to apply for every year—from surfing camp on the east coast and breathtaking hikes out west, to the crazy-cool wonder of new cultures abroad—there’s something amazing for everyone to experience.

Destinations Applications

Complete your online application well in advance of the deadlines. For Round 1, complete your application by February 1, so that your references have time to finish their section by the Round 1 deadline: February 15. For Round 2, complete it by June 1, so your references can finish by the Round 2 deadline: June 15. After June 15, applications are open on a rolling basis. If you are applying after June 15, before you apply, call or email the Destination’s contact person for each trip to make sure there is still space. If you have problems completing your application, email destinations@girlscouts.org.

We recommend that you complete and save the Destinations Application Worksheet first to prepare your application, and then cut and paste the data into the online application.

Select 2022 Destinations will be posted on GSUSA’s Destinations website.

February 1, 2021

It is recommended that girls have their applications complete so that their references can complete their section by the February 15 official deadline.

February 15, 2021

Girl deadline to have her application AND references complete in online system.

March 4, 2021

Destinations Hosts will notify Round 1 applicants of their status. All notices will be sent out by this date.

March 18, 2021

All Round 1 applicants’ deposits are due to event hosts.

May 1, 2021

All 2022 Destinations will be posted on GSUSA’s Destinations website.

June 1, 2021
