Grades 9-12: GSRV is partnering with Braver Angels to offer an impactful, engaging workshop that will help Girl Scouts learn skills for challenging conversations. Guided by trained moderators, Girl Scouts will practice developing curiosity about other perspectives, building understanding with those they may disagree with (about issues large and small), finding common ground, and expressing themselves freely and without fear. Adults who attend will have the opportunity to participate in a separate Braver Angels workshop (Depolarize & Disagree Better) about navigating difficult conversations and disagreements, particularly surrounding politics. Girl Scouts and their adults will walk away with new knowledge that they can practice with their families, classmates, troops, and more.

Adult/Youth Ratio:Adult chaperones are required to register and attend with youth members. Please limit adult registration and attendance to 1-2 adults for every 10 youth.
Payment details: This event has a minimum deposit. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Full payment is due by registration close date.

Cancellations: To receive a refund, less the non-transferable/non-refundable deposit, we must receive your cancellation notice by the posted cancellation deadline (30 days prior to the event).
