Location: St. Paul, MN

Registration Closes Apr 9

Details: Girl Scouts will earn a healthy cooking patch from the event.  As Girl Scouts are growing everyday, one thing they need to do is to have the opportunity to learn about eating fruits and vegetables that will help give them a sense of ownership over their own health. As their bodies are still growing, they need vitamins and minerals to help their bones grow strong, skin glowing and minds stay sharp. Girl Scouts will work in small groups to do activities to explore and learn why eating fruits and vegetables gives them energy and helps them to be at their best.  When Girl Scouts will also have the opportunity to do activities to connect healthy eating to strength, energy, and feeling good and do something that they will be a part of and not just a "diet rules". As they learn about the different types of leafy greens, berries, nuts, and whole grains all are to help boost brain power and focus.
