Grades 4-5: Junior Girl Scouts - Join Boston Scientific and their Society of Women Engineers for their 23rd year of Girl Scout Patch Day!

Explore engineering with the Society of Women Engineers through interactive, hands-on activities, including experiments that teach principles such as Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, and Mechanical Engineering. You'll also get to experience learning opportunities such as robotic demos and medical product expos. Use your imagination and learn what it's like to be an engineer!

An Adult STEM Leadership Track will take place concurrently that Troop Leaders will attend, featuring guest speakers and an experiment.

This year's theme: Explore the magic of engineering! Open the doors to an age of alchemy and the chemical engineering behind it. Learn about the mechanical mechanisms of the renaissance era and much more! If you desire, come dressed in appropriate Renaissance or magical attire.

Included: STEM Career Exploration badge, swag bag, and t-shirts for youth participants; Snack, lunch, for all participants

Free T-shirts for Girl Scouts: Thank you to Boston Scientific for providing t-shirts to youth attendees of Patch Day! Please complete this google form and indicate your Girl Scout's preferred t-shirt size after registering. Participants who complete this form by Wednesday, September 10th will be guaranteed their selected size.

Adult/Youth Ratio: Adult chaperones are required to register and attend with youth members. Please limit adult registration and attendance to 1-2 adults for every 10 youth.

Payment details: This event has a minimum deposit. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Full payment is due by registration close date.

Cancellations: To receive a refund, less the non-transferable/non-refundable deposit, we must receive your cancellation notice by the posted cancellation deadline (30 days prior to the event). To cancel your registration, submit the Events & Camp Cancellation Form
