This two-week session is the second step in the Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program. Building on previous CIT I experience, participants will take part in intensive hands-on leadership skills training, shadow camp staff members, and lead activities on their own. Participants will build their skills in behavior management, effective communication, decision making, and conflict resolution. Serving as a role model for our other campers, participants will spend more time with camp counselors planning and delivering programs.
CIT IIs will attend a two-hour virtual training in April or May to prepare for their weeks at camp.
