Grades 6-8: Unplug and connect while dissecting what mainstream media does to our brains. Cadettes will gain confidence in themselves as they discover how the media has changed our world. Girl Scouts will participate in activites that allow them to understand the importance of seperating reality and fiction within social media. Through this journey, Cadettes will come to learn how to have reflect their reality into the media they consume and use. Troops will leave feeling inspired to complete a Take Action project that reflects their personal commitment to cultivating a new perspective on the media.
Adults will be given time to connect and discuss highest award training during this time.
Included: Media journey set, meals (Sat dinner and Sun breakfast), snacks
Adult/Youth Ratio: Adult chaperones are required to register and attend with youth members. Please limit adult registration and attendance to 1-2 adults for every 10 youth.

The deposit from your cancelled event cannot be transferred, nor refunded. To receive a refund, less the non-transferable/non-refundable deposit, we must receive your cancellation notice by the posted cancellation deadline (30 days prior to the program start date).
