Our Organization

Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys’ work is supported by 7,000 volunteers who deliver the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to 19,000 girls in southern Minnesota, western Wisconsin, and one county in Iowa. Girl Scouts River Valleys is the 10th largest of 111 Girl Scout councils that make up the national Girl Scout Movement, sharing the mission to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.

Our 110 professional staff live and work across the council’s service area, with offices and retail shops in St. Paul, Brooklyn Center, Rochester, and Mankato, Minnesota. We own and operate five camp properties in Elk River, Scandia, Waterville, and Rochester, in Minnesota, and one camp property in Mason, Wisconsin. We hire an additional 200 staff seasonally to support summer camps and the iconic Girl Scout Cookie Program.
