2026 Cookie Program by the Numbers

May 12, 2026
The 2026 Cookie Program brought unexpected challenges that called for flexibility, a focus on safety, and increased communication during the season. Here's a brief overview of our end-of-season results:
  • Total packages sold: 2,813,896
  • Number of Girl Scouts selling: 9112
  • Per Girl Average (PGA): 307
  • Troop proceeds: $2,814,715.00

LemonAID Program

At the 130 package level, girls had the option to give back by supporting the Care to Share effort instead of selecting a reward item. Over 1100 Girl Scouts made that selection. To honor their choice, they will receive our special LemonAID program patch.

Cookie Share Program Donations

99,567 packages of cookies were donated by troops directly to worthy organizations right in their communities. Council-inventory donations benefitted Second Harvest Heartland, Channel One Food shelf, ECHO Food shelf, the American Red Cross, and additional organizations.

Cookie Booths

Troops participated in over 15,000 booth timeslots at locations throughout our council area. A special shout-out to Cub, your local grocery store, we are continually grateful for their partnership each year as they generously offer Cookie Booth opportunities at their 79 locations during the cookie season. Through this partnership, our Girl Scout entrepreneurs sold nearly 257,000 packages at Cub locations in 2026.

Fall FUNDraiser Sale

Speaking of fall, the Fall FUNDraiser returns on September 20. Your troop won’t want to miss out on the new, yummy treats, exclusive Barkbox options, great reads, the opportunity to earn more proceeds, and other surprises! Plus, girls can earn the exclusive, personalized patches along with rewards featuring this season’s mascot: the Kangaroo. It’s still a fast, easy, and fun way to earn funds to kick off the new Girl Scout year. Watch for more details this summer coming to your inbox and to GirlScoutsRV.org.
