Girl Scout Juniors are invited to participate in this exciting event, where they will take part in a variety of activities designed to introduce them to different branches of engineering. Highlights of the event will include:
- Hear from the Maple Grove Forester on sustainable landscaping and
urban planning.
- Learn about aerodynamics from a Drag Racer sponsored by Boston
Scientific.
- Conduct hands-on experiments with electricity and trebuchets.
- Collaborate with local middle school robotics teams.
The primary goal is to keep all activities interactive and hands-on, encouraging them to consider STEM as a potential career path. Additionally, the event will offer a dedicated track for troop leaders and parent volunteers. This segment is crafted to provide Girl Scout Leaders with essential resources to foster ongoing engagement with STEM. It will feature:
- Hands-on activities.
- A panel discussion.
- Informative presentation.
Finally, every participant will receive a snack, lunch, and a badge.
Adult/Youth Ratio: Adult chaperones are required to register and attend with youth members. Please limit adult registration and attendance to 1-2 adults for every 10 youth.
Payment details: This event has a minimum deposit. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Full payment is due by registration close date.

Cancellations: To receive a refund, less the non-transferable/non-refundable deposit, we must receive your cancellation notice by the posted cancellation deadline (30 days prior to the event).
