Grades 6-12: Step up to the challenge of designing accessible spaces with the Society of Women Engineers at University of Minnesota! Your challenge: Create a park that is accessible to all. What kind of park will you build? You will learn about universal design and discover how engineers tackle accessibility challenges. Once youve explored mechanical features for your park and experimented with different materials, youll show off how your engineering skills will make the world a better place!

Adult/Youth Ratio:Only 1 adult is required to register and attend with every 10 youth members. More may register as needed by the troop.

The deposit from your cancelled event cannot be transferred, nor refunded.
