Grades 8-12: Join us to get ready to vote! You'll explore the Justice and Democracy center and dive into the important principles of democracy and voting. You'll gain an understanding of why it's important to vote, how to pre-register to vote in Minnesota when you're 17, and you'll even get to tour special chambers of a federal court!
By joining us, you'll be among some of the first Girl Scouts to earn the Ready, Set, Vote patch that was made in partnership with the Minnesota Secretary of State, Steve Simon.
The Justice and Democracy Center is accessible via light rail and city bus routes. Street parking nearby is limited, but there are multiple parking garages close to the center. The building and program is handicapped accessible. All participants and chaperones will go through a security screening and a metal detector.

Adult/Youth Ratio:Only 1 adult is required to register and attend with every 10 youth members. More may register as needed by the troop.

The deposit from your cancelled event cannot be transferred, nor refunded. To receive a refund, less the non-transferable/non-refundable deposit, we must receive your cancellation notice by the posted cancellation deadline (30 days prior to the program start date).
