Take your kayaking and wilderness tripping skills further than you have before! You’ll spend the first days at camp preparing for your trip, then you’ll head out on a 10-day kayak trip through the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage in Wisconsin, known for miles of winding shoreline, interconnected lakes, and island campsites. While on trail, you’ll develop confidence, courage, and leadership as you master navigating lakes and rivers and cook meals over a fire. Develop skills and make memories that will last you a lifetime. After completing your kayak trip, you’ll return to Camp Northwoods to clean up and celebrate. Previous kayaking/canoeing trip experience required. Cadettes will earn their Trailblazer and Primitive Camper Badges; Seniors will earn the Adventure Camper Badge (included).
Since our longer trip programs can be challenging, we ask trip campers to fill out this pre-survey about their experience level after registering for 6 day or longer trips. This helps us make the experience safer and more enjoyable for all campers.
Grade levels: Register at the grade your camper is CURRENTLY in for the 2022/23 school year.
Payment details: This camp session has a minimum deposit. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Full payment is due 30 days prior to the first day of the camp session.

The deposit from your cancelled session cannot be transferred, nor refunded. To receive a refund, less the non-transferable/non-refundable deposit, we must receive your cancellation notice by the posted cancellation deadline (30 days prior to the program start date). To cancel your registration, submit the Events & Camp Cancellation Form.
