Grades 6-12: Get ready to hit the trails! Join
the Trailblazers Club in the Brooklyn Center and New Hope area to
explore nature while learning hiking, survivorship, camping, and
stewardship skills. You'll spend time outside with like-minded Girl
Scouts and grow your self-confidence, develop leadership experience,
and build life-long nature skills that encourage healthy relationships
with the outdoors and with local communities. The club experience
includes an overnight camping trip. By participating, you will earn
your Trailblazers Pin! The club ends with an overnight camping experience.
All ability levels are welcomed. Expect to spend a lot of time hiking and moving in various types of terrain and weather conditions. Camping gear will be provided, but plan to bring hiking or walking shoes, a water bottle, and small backpack to each meeting.
The club will meet throughout the Brooklyn Center and New Hope areas. Specific meeting locations will be shared after registration closes and as the club progresses.
Meetings will be once a month on a Wednesday evening or weekend to accommodate different activities.
