Grades 6-12: Calling all Cadette, Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts who enjoy leading activities with younger Girl Scouts and love the outdoors.  Whether you have earned your program aide pin, or on your way to do so, sign up to assist at one or both of our Outdoor Skills Days.  You will be paired up with a staff person to assist in one of these activity areas: fire building, orienteering, knots, shelter building, knife skills, or cooking over the fire.

Prior to the event date you will be sent 4 activities from the Program Aide Activity Plans to review, including Giving Directions, How to Lead, Age Group Characteristics and Skills Inventory.  These will help prepare you for being a Program Aide at the event.  These activities can be done on your own with an adult or in a small group.  If you have already taken Program Aide Training, this will be a good review, and if you have not, this can be the first step to earning the pin, refer to the Program Aide Activity Plans for more information on how to earn the pin.

When you register for this event, you will be able to choose to attend one or both of these dates.
