At the first session on August 20, participants will gain insight into their character by exploring the backgrounds and activities of Women’s Suffrage leaders, plan and fashion a costume, practice a group song, and rehearse their stage movement and lines with playwright and director, Madeline Hansen.

At the second session on August 27, participants will perform their trailblazing character roles for younger Girl Scouts and the public during the Seventh Annual First in the Nation Suffrage Celebration.   Family and friends are welcome to join their Girl Scouts during the community celebration from noon to 1:00 pm.  Light refreshments will be served.
