Troop Exploration 2-Night at Camp Singing Hills (Grades K-12) Jul 15 - Cabin

Have a three-day troop adventure at camp! Enjoy Camp Singing Hills while bonding with your troop and experiencing fun staff-led and troop-led activities.

NEW This Year: Troop leaders need to register the group by reserving a housing unit (booking a cabin or yurt), instead of registering by person. Names of Girl Scout and adult members attending will be collected about a month before your camp session. Troops can bring more adults than required by their program grade level ratio if desired. As long as Girl Scout Safety-Wise guidelines and ratios are met for your troop’s age level, you may bring whatever Girl Scout/adult ratio you wish.

This reservation is for one Shady Glen Cabin

Shady Glen Cabins sleep up to 16 people. Each cabin contains six bunks in the main room and two bunks in a back room with a curtain divider. The cabin is heated and has air conditioning. Bathrooms with flush toilets are just a short walk away. A shower house is also available.

Activities and Meals

Your adventure will kick off Friday night with an opening campfire complete with s’mores!

Saturday will start with your choice of breakfast options including bagels, cereal, yogurt, fruit, juice, milk, coffee and/or tea. During the day your troop can swim together and also select from two of the following activities: archery, slingshots, low ropes/teambuilding games, geocaching, canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding (Approx. 75 minutes per activity).

Saturday lunch will consist of sandwiches, carrots, fruit, chips, cookies and/or milk. Saturday dinner will be a cookout and troops have the choice of making pudgie pie pizzas (a.k.a campfire pizzas), mac-n-cheese, or burritos. There will also be veggies, fruit, and a dessert. Two additional snacks on Saturday will also be provided. 

On Sunday you’ll enjoy breakfast (similar menu to Saturday) and get the chance to participate in an all-camp activity with other troops!  

Note: Troops are welcome to bring additional food items/snacks to accommodate dietary needs and troop preferences. There will be space available to store these items safely in the dining hall (including refrigerated space). Troops will also have access to microwaves to use.  

Prior to arrival

Camp Singing Hills staff will send an email to the registered troop leader requesting the names and emails of all Girl Scout and adult participants that will be attending, as well as your group’s activity choices and Thursday dinner cookout selection. Groups will receive their schedule for staff-led events and swim times upon arrival.  

Payment details

This camp session has a minimum deposit. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Full payment is due 30 days prior to the first day of the camp session.

If you are planning to request financial assistance, please pay the minimum deposit with a credit card and select “Financial Aid” as a payment type. After registering complete the Financial Assistance Application(s).  

If you are planning to pay using program credits, please pay the minimum deposit with a credit card and select “Program Credits” as a payment type. Paper credits should be mailed to our St. Paul Service Center office. Complete the Electronic Program Credit Redemption Form to submit electronic credits.

The deposit from your cancelled session cannot be transferred, nor refunded. To receive a refund, less the non-transferable/non-refundable deposit, we must receive your cancellation notice by the posted cancellation deadline (30 days prior to the program start date).
