Grades 6–12: Explore the basic leadership skills needed to work with younger girls. Learn the characteristics of younger Girl Scouts, practice planning activities, and find out what it takes to help at events. Make the transition from participant to activity leader. Learn the expectations requested of you, learn how to lead songs, games, flag ceremonies and conflict resolution!  Program Aide is the first step to working with younger Girl Scouts at service unit events, day camps, and council events.

Program Series Overview: This Virtual Series will meet on Sundays from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Sep 18, 25 and Oct 2.   It is important to attend all three sessions.  The fourth session can be completed by assisting at one of our River Valleys in-person events.  There will be several to choose from and will be discussed during the 3 sessions.  Two choices will be Outdoor Skills Day at Camp Lakamaga on Oct 9 or Camp Elk River on Oct 15.

Once all sessions are completed, the Program Aide pin/badge can be purchased from River Valleys shop upon completion of required Program Aide hours and LIA award.

Adult/Girl Ratio: Girl only event, no adults are required to attend.
