Grades 4-8*: Join the Sirius Girls Astronomy Club (both exisiting members and new members) for a viewing of the Perseid Meteor Shower at Camp Singing Hills! Get ready for a night filled with night, sky and space related activities (and a Glow Party!) as we camp out and stay up late to see the meteor shower!

*Existing 8th grade members entering 9th grade may still attend.

*Please note that the $50 listed does NOT include the Sirius Girls Astronomy Club Membership. Please see more information on Club registration below. 

Included: Tents for camping, Meals (Dinner and Breakfast), Snacks.

Girl/Adult Ratio: Adult chaperones are required to register and attend with Girl Scouts. Approximately 1 adult for every 10 Girl Scouts. More adults are welcome to register if desired.  

Please note: A packing list will be sent out closer to the event date. In the event of uncooperative weather, we will be sleeping in cabins and moving our party indoors. 

SIRIUS GIRLS ASTRONOMY CLUB REGISTRATION OPENS IN JULY

Grades 4-8: Join us as we shoot for the stars! The Sirius Girls Astronomy Club has "fun-ducational" virtual meetings on the third Thursday of each month. Learn about meteors, constellations, planets and more as we explore our galaxy and beyond! It will be $30 for the year's (November to May) membership which includes an exclusive fun patch, for new members only, and club notebook. You'll also earn your Space Science Badge if you attend 4 of the 7 meetings! Participants of the Meteor Shower Star Party will be notified via email when the astronomy club registration opens. 

Payment details:This event has a minimum deposit.Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Full payment is due 30 days prior to the event start date.

The deposit from your cancelled event cannot be transferred, nor refunded. To receive a refund, less the non-transferable/non-refundable deposit, we must receive your cancellation notice by the posted cancellation deadline (30 days prior to the program start date).
