Join Girl Scouts River Valleys for our Council-led trip to Panama in the July of 2023! On this 8 day trip, Girl Scouts will canoe in Chagres National Park, go snorkeling on the Caribbean Coast, and experience Panamanian culture through dance, visiting cultural centers, and interaction with locals on this unforgettable trip. This trip is led by Girl Scouts River Valleys staff in partnership with EF Tours for Girl Scouts.
Girl Scout must be between 14 and 18 years old by July 1, 2023 to travel. Girl Scouts who graduate from high school in 2023 but will be 19 by July 1st are also welcome to travel on this trip. The travel window for this trip is July 2 through July 17th, 2023. Our departure and return dates will be 8-days within this window and will be determined when flights are booked closer to our departure day.
All travelers must pay both the EF tours deposit and the GSRV fee to be considered registered for the Panama trip.

The GSRV fee covers a pre-travel retreat, group supplies, etc.

Adult Chaperones
Adult Chaperones are needed for this trip. Adults who are interested in supporting the learning and growth of the group on this trip are who we are looking for as chaperones. Chaperones must maintain a current Girl Scout membership and background check. Chaperones pay to attend the trip and participate in all group activities, but will have additional chaperone duties (i.e. being in charge of a small group at a museum). Chaperones who are the parent or guardian of a traveler can expect to spend some time, but not all, with their child on the trip. Chaperones must also register via EF Tours and GSRV.
