Fashion Queen with Rochester Art Center

Grades 2-5: Join Rochester Art Center instructor and fashion designer Brooke Burch for a fun look at fashion design fit for a queen! You will view fantastic fantasy costumes designed and sewn by drag performer Utica Queen, as seen on season 13 of the pop culture television series RuPaul's Drag Race. Girl Scouts will then try out designing their own costume pieces using mixed media art supplies and explore basic sewing skills such as threading a needle and creating a stitch.

Included: Fashion design fun patch, museum admission

Adult/Girl Scout Ratio: Adult chaperones are required to register and attend with Girl Scouts. Approximately 1 adult for every 5 Girl Scouts.
