Digital Movie Maker with SPNN
Grades 6-8: Lights, camera, action! Cadettes are invited to join digital media professionals at the Saint Paul Neighborhood Network for a day of documentary-style digital movie making. Girl Scouts will learn basic camera work, techniques for movie preproduction, and editing skills. You will also have an opportunity to experiment with some advanced techniques such as green screen, stop motion animation, or graphic design. Girl Scouts will use these skills in small groups to produce their own short video for social change to share with their communities or local government.
Participants required to provide their own lunch and snacks.

Girl Scout/Adult Ratio: Adults are not required to attend this event. There will be a separate area for adults who do wish to stay in the building. Health forms will be required if an adult is not staying in the building.
