Adult and Me: Snowshoe and Space Science

Grades K-3: Explore Camp Lakamaga, located in Marine on St. Croix, by way of snowshoes and learn all about space science! Learn about how different cultures view the objects found in space, make star constellations and experiment creating craters all while traveling around camp via snowshoes. End your travels by warming up with a cup of hot cocoa! This program has self-guided portions and portions facilitated by Girl Scout staff.

Participants will sign up for a check-in time between 2:00PM and 3:30PM and should expect to spend about 2 hours at camp. If there is not enough snow for snowshoeing, we will still hold the event but participants will hike.

Included: Space Science Badge 

Adult/Girl Ratio: This is an Adult & Me program. An adult is required to register and participate in the program with their Girl Scout(s).
