Design Your Future with Boston Scientific SWE *Virtual*

Grade 4-5: Join women at the Society of Women Engineers from both MN and Boston Scientific to complete engineering challenges and learn more about being an engineer. You'll create a breathing machine to explore the lungs, design and build new packaging for cans that is animal-safe, and be ready to do two more experiments after the online session.

Included: An activity box with experiment materials and goodies, generously provided by Boston Scientific and SWE! Activity boxes will be picked up in the week leading up to the event-- registrants will receive more details later in November. Activity boxes also include the Product Designer badge.

Girl/Adult Ratio: Girl only event, no adults are required to attend.

Please Note: 

  • Registered participants will receivean email 1-2 days before the event with instructions for joining us on Zoom. You do not need to have a Zoom account to join the meeting.  

  • This is an interactive program with limited capacity. 

  • Although households with more than one participant may log in to the event using the same device, each participant must be registered individually.  

Payment details: This event has a minimum deposit. We ask registrants who are paying for this event with a credit card to pay the full balance at check out.

If you are planning to pay using program credits, pay as much of the total balance as you would like with a credit card and select Program Credit as a payment type for the remaining balance. Paper credits should be mailed to our St. Paul Service Center office.
