*Virtual* Girl Scout Day at the Capitol 2021
Registration Closes: 02/12/2021 at 11:59 p.m. CST
Join us virtually to be a catalyst for change in your community—and the world. Champion your views, share why Girl Scouts is needed now, influence leadership, and advance the G.I.R.L. Agenda. You'll hear from women in state government, learn about the Girl Scout Bill, and practice advocating for causes you care about. By the end of the program, you'll have connected with other girls your age, feel confident meeting with your representatives, and be ready to make the world a better place!
Help ensure that all girls have opportunities and pathways to explore STEM, the outdoors, entrepreneurship, and life skills in the best girl leadership development program in the world—Girl Scouts!
How: In addition to the interactive virtual program, Girl Scouts River Valleys will organize virtual meetings with legislators and their constituents on weekdays from March 9 to March 17. Help us get our bill passed, voice your concern for issues affecting girls today, and share how Girl Scouts is a solution.
Make this a virtual troop activity! Girl Scouts of any age can be advocates and learn what it means to be an engaged citizen. Use your power now to solve problems and make a difference in this world. If you are a troop leader/volunteer registering the girls in your troop, please register each individual girl separately using the girl's home address.
Registered girls will receive an activity packet in the mail (late-February/early-March) to follow along with the virtual advocacy training along with buttons, stickers, a poster, and postcards to mail to legislators.
Policies: Please review our event and cancellation policies.
