*Virtual* Campout: Introduction to Winter Camping
Registration Closes: 01/25/21 at 11 p.m. CST
Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean the camping fun has to stop!
Join our program staff for a winter camping program where you’ll learn about how to set-up a campsite (and additional things to consider during winter), how to build a quinzhee, learn about some of the gear you’ll use, and of course have some fun with traditional camp activities like crafts, songs, and hot cocoa! We’ll even have a special guest join us! Whether you choose to camp inside or outside, you’re sure to have some fun and learn some camping skills to get you ready for your next camping adventure!
Some sessions will have break-out room opportunities for those with previous camping experience.
An e-mail with Zoom log in details, schedule, and suggested items to have on hand for the day will be sent one week prior to the event. Your schedule will also include other activity options for your family or troop to work on together during the day.
Every registration includes one patch, mailed to your home.

1-2 pm: Cooking, fires and gear
4-5 pm: Crafts and cocoa
7-8 pm: Special Guest

Troop leaders: Make it a troop camp-out! Add activities before, during or after ours or set up a watch party or video chat with your troop.
