*Virtual* Stand Up, Speak Out: Understanding Race, Racism, and You (for Adults)
Registration Closes: 10/22/2020 at 11 p.m. CST
Adults: This three-part virtual series gives participants a chance to explore race and racism by reflection on their own identities, local history and current events, and how they can make a difference. Adults will also explore how to talk about race and racism with Girl Scouts and other youth. In community with other Girl Scout adults, participants will have the opportunity to reflect, discuss, learn, and plan their action steps.
It is important for participants to attend all three sessions that take place on 10/28, 11/4 & 11/11, as each week will build upon the previous week. Check out the parallel Stand Up, Speak Out sessions for Girl Scouts!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
- Open to current adult members of Girl Scouts River Valleys only.
