*Virtual* Program Aide PLUS (Session 3)

Explore the basic leadership skills needed to work with younger girls. Explore the basic leadership skills needed to work with younger girls. This virtual program series is split into four 1-hour sessions which can be attended in any order.
Learn the characteristics of younger Girl Scouts, practice planning activities, and find out what it takes to help at events. Make the transition from participant to volunteer. Learn the expectations requested of you, learn how to lead songs, games, flag ceremonies and conflict resolution!
Program Series Overview: This virtual program series is split into four 1-hour sessions which can be attended in any order. Participants are responsible for tracking what sessions they attend. Once all four virtual sessions are completed, the Program Aide pin/badge can be purchased from River Valleys shop upon completion of required Program Aide hours and LIA award.
Session 3 topics: Age Group Characteristics, Activity planning, How to lead Song and games, Tips & tricks for leading activities virtually and in person

Although households with more than one participant may log in to the event using the same device, each participant must be registered individually.
Please follow current guidance for safe gatherings if participating in-person with your troop.
You do not need to have a Zoom account to join the meeting, but we do suggest downloading the Zoom app onto your device. We recommend using a computer for the best experience, but you may join on a tablet as well.
Registered participants will receive an email 1-2 days before the event with ingredients/materials list and instructions for joining us online.
