*Members Only* Talking About Race and Racism: A Guided Reflection and Q&A ~ pre-registration required
Join Girl Scout staff alongside Intercultural Specialist Julia Hobday and Intercultural Leadership Coach Joayne Larson to talk about race and racism in our communities and country.
These sessions will guide Girl Scouts in processing their feelings and provide space for questions. The goal of these sessions is to help attendees acknowledge, unpack, and understand what is happening in our communities and why it is happening now.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
- Registration is open to current members of Girl Scouts River Valleys only. Click the registration button above to reserve your spot.
- Due to the interactive nature of this program, space is limited and will fill quickly. Please register early. Registration closes August 19.
- Please sign up for only one slot per computer being used. For example, if there is one adult and one Girl Scout participating, you only need to sign up for one slot. Multiple girls in the same household may participate under one registration, but please follow current guidance if participating in-person with your troop.
- Registered participants will receive an email 1-2 days before the event with instructions for joining us online. A computer/tablet and an internet connection will be required to participate.
