*In-person* MEA Day Camp Friday at Camp Elk River

Experience Day Camp in the Fall!
Join us as we explore the outdoors and participate in a variety of fall-based activities. Highlights include building a pumpkin catapult, decorating a pumpkin, learning to build a fire, and having a tasty campfire snack you make yourself.
Note: This is a girl-only event. We are, however, opening up a limited amount of adult spaces for those who would like to stay at camp for the duration of the event. Adults will have access to Wi-Fi and coffee in the Gray Koch building but will not be with their Girl Scout for activities. Adults will be required to wear masks and adhere to our Covid guidelines while at camp.
8:45 - 9:00 am: Camper Drop Off
9 - 12 pm: 2 to 3 Fantastic Fall Activities
12 - 1 pm: Lunch (bring your own)
1 - 3 pm: 2 to 3 Awesome Autumn Activities
3 - 4 pm: Camper Pick up
What to Bring:
Bag lunch (each day)
Sturdy, closed-toe walking shoes
Backpack for carrying items around camp
Medications Health History Form for Resident Campers
Notebook/journal and pencil or pen
Headwear (bandana, hat, etc.)
Camera (that isn’t on a mobile device)
Covid-19 Safety Measures:
- Pods: Each camper will be placed in a small pod based on age. Each pod will do all activities together and pods will not interact with other pods.
- Face masks: All staff and participants will be required to wear face coverings/masks during this event. Please keep your mask on (covering the mouth and nose) for the duration of your visit.
- Single/limited occupancy restrooms
- Increased Cleaning
- Participants who feel sick, are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, or have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 should not attend the event. We will honor an exception to our cancellation policy and issue refunds in these cases.
