Be a catalyst for change in your community—and the world. Champion your views, share why Girl Scouts is needed now, influence leadership, and advance the G.I.R.L. Agenda to make the world a better place.

Help ensure that all girls have opportunities and pathways to explore STEM, the outdoors, entrepreneurship, and life skills in the best girl leadership development program in the world—Girl Scouts!

Girl Scouts River Valleys will organize meetings with legislators and their constituents. Help us get our bill passed, voice your concern for issues affecting girls today, and share how Girl Scouts is a solution.

We'll start the day at the Minnesota History Center where you'll learn about advocacy, how to talk to your legislator, and the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment (Women's Suffrage) from the Minnesota Attorney General, Secretary of State, and State Auditor. Then we will have lunch (Provided!) and march over to the Capitol for a rally before meeting with your legislators. We'll end the day at the Senate Education Finance and Policy Committee from 3:00 pm–4:30 pm. This is the committee that our Girl Scout Bill is in. To be determined: We are hoping to get a hearing on our bill so that girls can witness firsthand the process of a hearing and testimony!

Policies: Please review our event and cancellation policies.
