*Virtual* Examining Stories of this Native Place ~ REGISTRATION CLOSED
Registration Closes: 11/19/2020 at 11 p.m. CST
Explore the Native stories all around us – from the names of Minnesota towns to the stories of Native people who live here today. We will reflect on who is telling these stories and expand our understanding of prominent Thanksgiving stories. Girl Scouts will have opportunities discuss and connect with each other during this interactive program.
This program will be facilitated by Chelsea Mead, Associate Professor of Anthropology and American Indigenous Studies and Megan Heutmaker, Director of American Indian Affairs at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
- This event is open to current members of Girl Scouts River Valleys only.
