Troops can decide which one works best for their troop and families. It is Girl Scouts River Valleys’ recommendation, whenever possible, to deposit monies collected from sold cookies directly into the troop account. Families and troops required to download and install
Families create a Venmo account and tie it to their personal
Troop Leader/Troop Cookie Manager creates a
Venmo account and ties it to their troop bank account.
Troop informs families of the Venmo account name to transfer
Families deposit cookie monies into their
personal account, log into Venmo to initiate transfer to troop’s
Troop transfers monies from Venmo to
troop’s bank account.
