Join us for Girl Scouts Day at the Capitol!

Register for Girl Scout Day at the Capitol, March 7, 8 and 11

Girl Scout Day at the Capitol is an opportunity for Girl Scouts in grades 2-12 to amplify their voices. Through both virtual and in-person programs, Girl Scouts will develop a basic understanding of advocacy, gain confidence in their advocacy skills, and see how they can make the world a better place. They’ll discover the Minnesota State Capitol as a welcoming space to practice their skills and be connected to their own legislators.

Here’s what the families of Girl Scouts said about last year’s Day at the Capitol programming:

  • My Girl Scout enjoyed learning about how to talk to a representative.

  • My Girl Scout liked getting to practice giving a presentation.

  • My Girl Scout loved seeing the inside of the Capitol and the underground tunnels. She also liked seeing Girl Scouts at the Capitol.

On March 11, Girl Scouts will be able to explore the Minnesota State Capitol in person! They will be able to meet state legislators, woman advocates, participate in engaging activities to learn about advocacy and go on a scavenger hunt throughout the Capitol.

These events are hosted by Girl Scout River Valleys, and we invite Girl Scouts from Girl Scouts Lakes and Pines and Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons to attend.
