This year’s Annual Meeting is an opportunity for us to unite and inspire Girl Scouts River Valleys members and introduce our new CEO, Marisa C. Williams. We continue to work toward the goals of our three-year Strategic Plan, For Every Girl, which solidifies our commitment to the Girl Scout mission and defines our organization’s core purpose of working to boldly lead as an anti-racist organization that uplifts and empowers every girl to know their worth and lead in their world.
Girls deserve a future of their own creation—Girl Scouts is where that future begins.
Our time together will focus on informing members of our strategic priorities, the current state of our business, and plans for the future. In addition, we will welcome new Board and Board Development Committee members—these are the individuals who, along with our voting members, drive the governance of this organization.
The 2023 Annual Meeting will include:
- Stewardship reports from Girl Scouts River Valleys’ Chief Executive Officer, Board Chair, and Board Treasurer
- Election of Board Officers, Directors-at-Large, and members of the Board Development Committee
- Recognition of outgoing leaders
- Introduction to new Girl Scouts River Valleys CEO, Marisa C. Williams
Voting members (Service Unit Delegates, National Delegates,
Community Delegates, Board & Board Development Committee Members)
received an email invitation with a link to the online voting packet.
Included in the online voting packet is information on how to access
the voting platform. Please contact
us if you are a voting member and did not receive this email.
*Delegate Alternates will not receive voting information unless
they have notified Girl Scouts River Valleys by email before the
Annual Meeting that they will be replacing a Delegate.
