We're hosting Girl Scout Day at the Capitol virtually on Tuesday, March 8!

This event is FREE to Girl Scouts and families from Girl Scouts River Valleys, Girl Scouts Lakes and Pines, and Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons. We will have two sessions based on grade levels:

Attendees will go on a virtual tour of the Minnesota Capitol, get creative with an advocacy scenario, and have the opportunity to meet with their legislator(s) over the following week. All registrants will receive a package in the mail including an activity booklet for the program, fun stickers, a step-by-step guide to advocating for issues Girl Scouts care about, and a postcard they can send to their legislator.

Share this opportunity with Girl Scouts and families in your area!

Virtual Legislator Meetings:  Girl Scouts River Valleys will organize virtual meetings with legislators and their constituents on weekdays from March 9 to March 16. You’ll get to meet your legislator(s), voice your concern for issues affecting girls today, and share how Girl Scouts is a solution. The meetings will be based on legislator schedules and the dates and times will be communicated closer to the event. Participants are encouraged to do their best to attend the meeting(s) if possible.

Included: All registrants will receive a package in the mail including an activity booklet for the program, fun stickers, bonus activities, and a postcard to send to your legislator.

How to Join: Once you've registerd an email with details about how to join the zoom meeting will be sent to you 2-3 days before the event.
