2022 Cookie Program by the Numbers

Congratulations River Valleys Girl Scouts and cookie volunteers for climbing with courage through the 2022 Cookie Program! No matter what came your way this (Adventureful) season, your innovation, dedication, and creativity were unmatched. This “can-do” spirit is just one of the reasons we are one of the top councils for cookie sales in the country. We are so pleased to share the end of season cookie totals:

  • Total Packages Sold: 3,529,000
  • Number of Girl Scouts Selling: 11,450
  • Per Girl Average (PGA): 308
  • Troop Proceeds: $3,168,000

Cookie Variety Mix

$11,415 to Animal Humane Society

$11,415 was donated to benefit the animals at the Animal Humane Society through our Koala Krew Program. The Animal Humane Society wanted to share a special video thank youwith our Girl Scouts!

Over 3500 girls completed our Koala-fied Supply Chain Expert patch program, learned more about how the supply chain can affect businesses, and earned a free patch along the way!

Cookie Care Program Donations

Over 90,000 packages of cookies were donated in our communities to worthy organizations to benefit our healthcare heroes, food shelves, school lunch programs, and much more.

Cookie Booths

Troops participated in over 14,000 booth timeslots at locations throughout our council area. A special shout-out to Cub, your local grocery store! We are incredibly grateful for the continued partnership between Girl Scouts River Valleys and Cub as they generously offer Cookie Booth opportunities at their 70+ locations during the cookie season. Through this partnership, our Girl Scout entrepreneurs sold nearly 415,000 packages alone at Cub locations in 2022.

As we say goodbye to our friend Katie the Koala, we are ready to make a splash with our new mascot-the dolphin! Watch for the dates for the 2023 Cookie Program to be announced this fall.

Fall Snacks & Magazines Program

Speaking of fall, our Snacks & Magazines Program (aka Fall Product) will begin on September 26. We are thrilled to “Go Bright Ahead” with the program mascot, the Hawaiian Monk Seal. Your troop can add the program to your fall plans as a fast, easy, fun to earn proceeds. Plus, the yummy snacks and great magazine reads get a “seal” of approval as terrific holiday gifts. Watch for more details this summer coming to your inbox and on Cookie Central.
