Give to the Max Day here! Give to the Max Day, November 19, is a one-day giving challenge for non-profits and schools across Minnesota.
Did you know that one out of five girls receive financial assistance to participate in our girl-led leadership programs? Your gift to Girl Scouts has incredible impact in the lives of local girls.
Right now, girls are cut off from their peers, classmates, and usual activities—but not in Girl Scouts. When you support Girl Scouts’ all-girl programs, you ensure that every girl stays:
- Connected to their friends and all-girl support network
- Engaged, curious, and ready to learn despite disruptions to their schooling
- Courageous and confident as they work toward racial justice, community safety, and making the world a better place.
Girls are being provided with the virtual, all-girl leadership programming they need to feel supported, connected, and engaged during this difficult time in their lives.
Ways to give
By donating to Girl Scouts on Give to the Max Day, you’ll be contributing to the best leadership development organization for girls. You can make a gift to Girl Scouts River Valleys or give to support a specific service unit’s family giving goal on Give to the Max Day’s website, GiveMN.
This year, our goal is to raise $40,000 to support the best girl leadership organization in the world. To help us get there, we have $20,000 in matching funds that will double the impact of every gift on Give to the Max Day.
Starting on November 1, you can schedule your Give to the Max Day gift on the GiveMN site. All scheduled gifts will help us earn matching fund dollars to reach our goal of $40,000.
Help us spread the word!
We’ve put together a social media toolkit with images you can download and share on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to encourage friends and family to give to Girl Scouts River Valleys. Share these on social media using the hashtag #GTMD20, and be sure to share how Girl Scouts has made an impact in your life!
Only at Girl Scouts are girls offered hands-on, girl-led, girl-centered learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), the outdoors, entrepreneurship, and opportunities to develop invaluable life skills that they will be able to transfer to any environment now and in the future.
Backed by more than 100 years of experience and expertise, Girl Scouts fosters collaboration and promotes support for girls, enabling them to stretch beyond their limits and acquire valuable life skills in an all-girl, girl-led inclusive space.
Thank you for helping us continue to provide high quality programming for all girls.
