You can still try out Girl Scouts now, by signing up for one of our free virtual recruitment events (can you say Animal Dance Party!). Girls will have a blast with our fun activity and adults will learn more about joining and troop options for their girl this fall.
What is a try-it Girl Scout troop?
Girls get to see what Girl Scouts is like. They'll take part in virtual meetings with other girls during the winter – summer seasons to see what a Girl Scout troop meeting is like. Together, they'll learn about Girl Scout traditions, life skills, STEM, the outdoors, and entrepreneurship!
Also, girls will earn fun patches for meetings they attend and have the opportunity to complete their own community service project. At the end of their community service project, they’ll receive a special pin honoring their accomplishment.
What are the benefits?
Research shows that Girl Scouts helps girls grow in confidence. Plus, through a try-it Girl Scout troop, you’ll get to see the positive impact of Girl Scouts before joining a troop in your community this fall.
We understand that the COVID-19 pandemic has stopped many girls from participating in-person in activities they love. Try-it Girl Scout troops give your girl the opportunity to connect with others, build valuable life skills, and have fun this summer!
