The Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin Lakes and Pines are planning a trip to the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouts in Washington, DC! There will be opportunities to meet Girl Scouts from around the world, participate in the Sing-A-Long at the National Mall and explore a city that is a magnificent display of our country's history. The group will plan the trip together, exploring the options: monuments, museums, the workings of our government, visiting the White House or even becoming secret FBI agents!
The trip will extend to Philadelphia, where the Constitution and Declaration of Independence were written and see the Liberty Bell. The last stop is New York City, where the girls will choose sites and activies. Options include a Broadway show (either the Lion King or the Blue Man Group), shopping and seeing the Statue of Liberty. You’ll also get to go on a DJ dinner cruise and see the sights by boat, while having a dance party.
Contact Anastacia Schnabel, aschnabel@gslakesandpines.org for questions or how to register!
