GSUSA Volunteer Orientation

Description

This online orientation (available in both English and Spanish) is a required, introductory view of the Girl Scout organization. The program content is standardized with consistent national Girl Scout messages and information.

Ways to Complete

1. Online Volunteer Orientation (OVO)
Scroll to the bottom of your screen to find Online Volunteer Orientation (password: discover, contraseña de acceso: descubrir)

  • When directed, access the Learning Log. Complete all requested information in the Learning Log. Choose the council name: Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys. To get back to the Orientation, minimize your log and leave it loaded in your task bar for easy access throughout the orientation.
  • After each section in the Orientation, click on the Table of Contents to move to the next section.
  • Do not close the Learning Log from your task bar until you have finished and submitted it, as this will cause you to lose your data.
  • After completing training and answering questions, submit Learning Log to record your completion of the online volunteer orientation. There will be a screen confirming your submission.
