Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys will be hosting its second annual Women of Distinction luncheon on April 8, 2010. Women of Distinction provides an opportunity to link women leaders of the present with the future women leaders we are developing as part of Girl Scouting. Women of Distinction honors women who are outstanding achievers, as well as generous and compassionate contributors to the community.  These honorees are women whose professional accomplishments, leadership and community contributions make them positive role models who inspire girls to achieve their own goals and dreams.

In partnership with 18,000 adult volunteers, Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys serves more than 45,000 girls – in all or portions of 49 counties in the Twin Cities metro, southern Minnesota, and western Wisconsin – to discover new abilities, connect with new friends, and take action to improve their communities.  Girl Scouts is the world’s pre-eminent leadership development organization for girls, building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
