Youth Volunteer Job at Agent of Change Journey Day
Date: Saturday 1 December 2012
Time: 9:00 am–4:30 pm
Location: Falcon Ridge Middle School
Power—everyone’s got it! Inspire Girl Scout Juniors to discover their own superhero powers, as well as the power of your Girl Scout sisters and women throughout history as they complete the Agent of Change journey. Help girls complete the Power of One and Power of Team Awards. Assist with leading exciting activity stations and games, various event duties, and fostering the Girl Scout sisterhood. Volunteer hours are flexible and can accommodate to your schedule and preference. Further explanation of duties will be provided by a program specialist.
Please bring a lunch. There will be a program break with eating space available.
Youth Event Assistants (YEA’s) are an important part of making River Valleys’ events a success. YEA’s assist with events by checking in participants, assisting with activities, cleaning up and other tasks. There is no cost associated with volunteering for events, but YEA’s must provide their own adult chaperone.
