Superior Hiking Trail Backpacking: Level 4 Trip at Camp Northwoods

Our backpack trips take girls to beautiful views in the Midwest. Girls start with a four-day trip to learn backpacking basics on the North Country Trail. Spectacular cliffs and breathtaking views await them as they move up to six- and eight-day trips along the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and Porcupine Mountains State Park. Our fourth level trip is on the Superior Hiking Trail, rated one of the top ten trails in the country with panoramic vistas and rugged trails. Girls will get to appreciate the true beauty of Lake Superior on the fifth-level trip to Isle Royale, a wilderness island in the middle of Lake Superior that is only accessed by boat.

Grade level refers to the girls’ grade in the upcoming school year.
