Outdoor Cooking and Outdoor Skills at Cadette Getaway

If you have already taken program aide, sign-up for the outdoor skills enrichment. Try different cooking techniques such as pie irons, dutch ovens, box ovens, and one pot meals and learn the differences in cooking over a camp stove, fire, and charcoal. Learn how to teach younger girls basic outdoor skills such as jackknife safety, leave no trace, fire building, knot tying, as well as how to lead different nature hikes and activities.

This event is a session option as part of the day-long Cadette Getaway.
