Namekagon Canoe: Level 2 Trip at Camp Northwoods

Our canoe trips take place in some of the most scenic paddling locations in the country. Trips start close to camp on the gentle Wisconsin River, where girls learn the basics of steering and handling canoes. The next trips lead girls to longer adventures on the Namekagon River and the Manitowish Waters Lakes and Rivers area, where paddling and portaging are combined over eight days. The culminating fourth and fifth levels bring girls to world renowned Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, where they experience the true beauty of lake country.

Grade level refers to the girls’ grade in the upcoming school year.
